ICU Week FAQ
What is international credit union day?
ICU Day is a global celebration of the credit union movement. It’s a chance for credit unions everywhere to highlight what makes us unique: supporting members by practicing people over profit and building community through cooperative finance.
Why does SunWest celebrate all week instead of one day?
Where’s the fun in that? Since 2018, we’ve stretched ICU Day to ICU Week. It lets us bring more energy, more activities, and more ways for members to join the fun.
What is Arizona Credit Union Week?
AZCU Week is a partnership between credit unions across Arizona. This will be its third year and the first year we’ve had the privilege to join in! Together, we celebrate with statewide service projects, financial education, and community events that show the strength of credit unions when we work as one.
How do the raffles work?
Online/In-person Form Submission: We’ve created one themed activity for each Spirit Week day. For every section of the form you complete, you’ll earn one raffle entry–up to 5 entries total. You can submit online through the form or grab a paper copy in-branch. The only difference between these forms will be for Art Day. The online form will have one image for Caption This Canvas, but each branch may have multiple for you to choose one from.
Social Media Photo Contest: We want to see what community means to you through your lens. This will be hosted on Instagram and Facebook, and you can earn two entries total for posting your photo to each platform feed using #SWCommunityOnCamera in the caption.
• Must be 18 or older at the time of drawings to win.
• Winners will be drawn on October 20, 2025 and contacted within 5 business days.
What can I win?
Online/In-person Form Submission: 5 SunWest members will be chosen via raffle to win a $200 Mastercard® eGift Card.
Social Media Photo Contest: 2 Arizona residents who follow us on Instagram and/or Facebook @sunwestfcu will win a $250 Mastercard® eGift Card.
Can I do both the online and in-person forms for extra entries?
No, you can only receive a max of 5 raffle entries and cannot “double up” by completing both forms or the same sections more than once. You can, however, enter both the themed activities and the social media photo contest!
