Branch Relocation FAQ

Why are you moving from the current Cactus Branch location?

Our Cactus location has served our membership well for a very long time, but this move allows us to assist members in a more secure and convenient location with enhanced accessibility.

What changes can I expect at the new Thunderbird location?

Our new Thunderbird Branch will not have a drive-thru teller or offer safe deposit boxes. To see which locations offer these services visit our locations page.

Where will the new Cacust Branch be located?

Our new Thunderbird Branch will be located on the southeast corner of 43rd and Thunderbird in the Deer Valley Shopping Center. The address is 4141 W Thunderbird Rd, Phoenix, AZ, 85053.

I have a loan with you - Who do I mail payment or any necessary documentation to?

We recommend making your payment through our online portal or Bill Pay. However, mailed-in payments can be sent to SunWest Credit Union at 5323 N 99th Ave, Suite 220, Glendale, AZ 85305, as well as any updated insurance documents or other paperwork.

How can members stay informed about this relocation?

Visit this page for updates or call us at 602.866.1100. These changes are also being communicated via email to members and throughout our social media accounts.

*Offer valid only on the Grand Opening event date, March 15, 2024. To be eligible for the $100 bonus deposit, individuals must open a Journey Account on the day of the Grand Opening. Applicants must be between the ages of 18 to 22. Journey Accounts must be opened with both a savings and a checking account. A minimum deposit of $5 to the savings is required, representing your “share” in the credit union. This is not a fee and will be returned to you in the event you close the account. Account applicants must meet SunWest membership eligibility and the following requirements: (1) Applicants must not have any previous or existing SunWest Credit Union accounts. (2) You must sign up for electronic statements within 30 days of account opening. (3) The account must remain open for a minimum of 90 days to qualify for the $100 bonus deposit. (4) Account holders must use their SunWest debit card for a minimum of (15) transactions within the first 60 days of account opening. Please note that ATM transactions and cash advances do not qualify as part of the 15 transactions. The $100 bonus deposit will be funded after 90 days of account opening if all requirements are met.
