Your SunWest cards are getting brighter

Coming this fall, we're upgrading all SunWest debit and credit cards. That means a new card look, better features–even a new credit rewards experience. Don't worry. We're here to walk you through it.

Just received a new card or card expiring soon?

If your card has an expiration date within these months, you’ll receive 2 cards within a short time: July, August, September, October

The first card you receive will replace your expiring card, so there’s no chance of you getting stuck on E at the pump.

Cards with expiration dates through October are being mailed throughout the next couple of months, and you may receive your expiring card earlier than expected.

The second card you receive will not only be love at first swipe, but puts more card controls in your hands.

All SunWest cards are moving to a new system that will include upgraded security and better access with card controls directly in your SunWest Mobile app and online banking.

Don't throw it away! Keep the new card in a secure place until it can be activated on November 4th.

Freeze it, lock it in the safe, keep it in the back of your wallet. Just don’t throw it away or cut it up. Your old card will stop working on November 3, 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why am I receiving two new cards?

Your first replacement card is part of the normal expiration process. You'll receive another card before November because we're upgrading our card system.

Is something wrong with my first replacement card?

Not at all. It just will not carry over to the new card processing system.
