As we upgrade our ATMs, branches that currently accept deposits will temporarily pause this service.
Don't worry, you have options.
*This will happen one branch at a time. Check our Locations page before you visit to see if ATM deposits are on a break at your branch.
Why am I receiving two new cards?
Your first replacement card is part of the normal expiration process. You'll receive another card before November because we're upgrading our card system.
Is something wrong with my first replacement card?
Not at all. It just will not carry over to the new card processing system.
Why is my Gold card changing?
The Gold Credit Card is being retired to make room for future card options and benefits.
Will my interest rate change?
You will keep your current Annual Percentage Rate of 12.50% unless you have received an offer for a Rewards Card and finalized the acceptance process with our Lending Team on or before September 14th.
Do I need to apply for my replacement card?
No, we will automatically send you a replacement. However, if you have accepted an offer for our Rewards Card, you will complete the new card process with our Lending Team in order to receive the new Rewards Card.
I received an upgrade offer for a Rewards card. Will my new card be a Rewards or Classic Credit Card?
All members who have accepted a preapproval offer and finalized the process by signing your Mastercard Rewards Agreement on or before September 14th will receive a SunWest Rewards Card before we move to the system.
This means that you will receive 2 different cards between September and November: 1 for switching your card from Gold to a Rewards, and 1 to replace your new Rewards card as we move to a new card system.
Will my credit limit change?
No. Your credit limit is not changing.
Will this change hurt my credit?
No. Your credit history will remain, and there is no new credit pull for Gold Cards converted to Classic Cards.
Why is my ATM card changing?
We're retiring our ATM-only cards as part of the card system upgrade.
What is the difference between my ATM card and this new Debit?
We have redesigned all of our cards as part of our rebrand and made some changes to our card offerings as we upgrade our card system. You can use this card the same way you always have.
Will I receive a new card?
If you've used your ATM card within the past 12 months, we'll automatically send you a replacement. Members who haven't will not automatically receive a replacement. If you still need a card, we're happy to help.
Can I still access my account?
Yes. Your available account access options may depend on your account type. Contact us if you have questions about the best option for you.
Am I losing my rewards?
No. Your existing ScoreCard Rewards points will transfer to CU Rewards.
Why aren't all of my points showing?
Existing points transfer separately after conversion and may take approximately 30 days to appear.
Should I redeem my points before conversion?
That's up to you. Your points are coming with you, but if you'd rather not wait for the transfer, you're welcome to redeem them beforehand.
Will I keep earning rewards?
Yes. Eligible purchases made after conversion will begin earning rewards through CU Rewards.
What's different about CU Rewards?
CU Rewards gives you more ways to redeem, including travel, gift cards, merchandise, and everyday savings. You’ll now be able to access your Rewards right from your app or online banking.
Why can't I make a deposit at my usual ATM?
As we upgrade our ATM network, our machines will temporarily stop accepting deposits during the conversion process. This will happen branch-by-branch, not all ATMs at the same time.
Can I still withdraw cash?
Yes, this maintenance will not affect withdrawals. Only deposit functionality is temporarily affected.
Where can I make a deposit instead?
How long will deposits be unavailable?
The process to update all branch ATMs will take about a month, but not all ATMs will be unavailable for deposits at the same time. We will be updating them one at a time.
How do I know if my ATM is affected?
Check our Locations page to see if deposits are being accepted at your branch.
